Terms & Conditions
Bookings must be made by a person aged 18 or over.
Party bookings are confirmed once the required £50 non-refundable deposit has been received. Day-visit bookings and event tickets must be paid in full at the time of booking.
Bookings are non-transferable and non-refundable, except where otherwise stated in these Terms & Conditions or where required by law.
All visitors must read and follow Treetops Play & Party Cafe’s Rules of Play, which are available on our website and displayed within the play centre. The person making the booking is responsible for ensuring that everyone included in their booking is aware of and follows these rules.
Treetops reserves the right to refuse entry or terminate a visit, party or event where these Terms & Conditions or our Rules of Play are not followed, or where behaviour may affect the safety or enjoyment of other visitors or our team.
Party Bookings
A £50 non-refundable deposit is required to secure a party booking.
Each party package has a minimum booking requirement or package price. Full details of our current party packages, prices and minimum numbers can be found on our Parties page.
The birthday child is included within the total number of children attending the party.
Payment for the minimum package or minimum number of children is due 7 days before the party date.
Once the minimum payment has been made, any additional children attending above the number already paid for will be added to the final balance and charged at the applicable rate.
Our team will contact you approximately one week before your party to confirm the expected number of children, food choices, allergies or dietary requirements and any extras you would like to add.
Adults
One adult per child is included free of charge. Additional adults are charged £1 per adult.
Arrival & Party Times
Please arrive no earlier than 15 minutes before your party start time.
Parties start and finish at the times stated on your booking. Unfortunately, arriving late cannot result in the party finishing later, as we may need to prepare the room or venue for the next booking.
All children attending the party must be signed in on arrival.
The party organiser is responsible for ensuring that their guests leave the party area and premises at the agreed finishing time.
Changing Your Party Date
If you need to move your party to another date, we require a minimum of 30 days’ notice.
Moving a booking is subject to availability and a £25 administration fee.
The original £50 booking deposit remains non-refundable.
Cancelling a Party
If you choose to cancel your party, the £50 deposit is non-refundable.
Where the minimum party balance has already become due or has been paid, refunds will not normally be provided for cancellations or non-attendance, subject to your statutory rights.
If Treetops has to cancel your booking and cannot offer a suitable alternative, any money paid to Treetops for that booking will be refunded. Treetops cannot accept responsibility for other costs or expenses incurred in connection with the booking, except where required by law.
Soft Play & Safety
The maximum height for children using our soft play equipment is 148cm.
Children under 18 who are over the 148cm height restriction are very welcome to attend parties and visit Treetops, but unfortunately they cannot use the soft play frame, including for the purpose of supervising younger children.
Adults may access the play equipment where necessary to supervise or assist a child, subject to our Rules of Play.
Our dedicated toddler area is strictly for children under 4 years old. For safety reasons, we are unable to make exceptions to this age restriction.
Socks must be worn at all times by anyone accessing the soft play equipment.
Parents, guardians and accompanying adults remain responsible for supervising the children in their care at all times.
Food, Allergies & Dietary Requirements
The safety of our visitors is extremely important to us.
We can cater for a wide range of food allergies and dietary requirements. Please speak to us about your requirements and our team will be happy to discuss the available options.
For parties, we ask that you inform us of any known allergies or dietary requirements before the party date so that we can prepare appropriately.
To help us safely manage food hygiene and allergens within Treetops, only food and drink purchased from Treetops Play & Party Cafe may be consumed on the premises, with appropriate exceptions for baby food and specific medical or dietary requirements.
Party organisers are welcome to bring their own birthday cake.
Where we have been advised that a child has an allergy, we may decide not to serve that child birthday cake, sweets or other food brought in by the party organiser where we cannot confirm that it is suitable for them. This is for the child’s safety.
Day Visits & Event Bookings
Day visits booked online must be paid for in full at the time of booking.
Event tickets must also be paid for in full at the time of booking.
Day-visit and event bookings are non-refundable unless otherwise stated or required by law.
At weekends and during school holidays, advance booking is available for our 9:00am–10:30am session. After this time, admission is on a walk-in basis, subject to capacity.
During term-time weekdays, advance booking is available throughout the day and walk-ins are also welcome.
Privacy & Data Protection
Treetops Play & Party Cafe respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the personal information you provide to us.
We process personal information in accordance with applicable UK data protection legislation, including the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.
Information We Collect
We may collect personal information when you:
make a booking;
contact us through our website, email, telephone or social media;
make an enquiry about our services;
enter a competition or promotion;
subscribe to marketing communications; or
otherwise provide information to us in connection with your visit or booking.
This information may include your name, contact details, booking information and any other information you choose to provide.
Where information concerning allergies or dietary requirements is provided to us, we will use this information for the purpose of safely managing your visit, food order or party.
How We Use Your Information
We may use your information to:
process and manage bookings;
respond to enquiries and requests;
provide our services;
communicate with you about your booking;
improve our products, services and website;
administer promotions, competitions or other website features; and
send marketing communications where we have an appropriate lawful basis to do so.
You can unsubscribe from marketing communications at any time by following the unsubscribe instructions contained within the communication or by contacting us at info@treetopsplay.co.uk.
Sharing Your Information
We do not sell your personal information.
We may share information with trusted service providers where necessary to operate our business, process bookings or payments, maintain our website or provide services to you.
We may also disclose personal information where required to do so by law or where necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal rights.
